This aged Yongchun Foshou Oolong from Fujian is a smooth and aromatic oolong tea made from the famous Foshou cultivar, also known as Buddha’s Hand. Aged for six years and pressed into a tea brick, it is mellow, comforting, and easy to brew. It is perfect for daily drinking, thermos brewing, and tea lovers who enjoy smooth aged oolong with fruity sweetness and lasting fragrance.

The aroma is rich and layered, with creamy floral notes, ripe fruit, citron, snow pear, and soft toffee sweetness. The tea liquor is full-bodied, juicy, smooth, and mouthwatering, with a refreshing fruity sweetness that lingers in the mouth and throat. The finish is clean, warming, and relaxing, with the signature “Foshou rhyme” unique to this cultivar.

This tea is traditionally handcrafted using Fujian oolong processing methods, including partial oxidation, rolling, roasting, and natural aging. Six years of aging have softened the tea and deepened its sweetness, smoothness, and complexity. The pressed brick shape is convenient for travel and long steeping.

Traditional Gongfu Style 

Use 5 grams of tea and place it in a gaiwan or a Yixing teapot. Pour in boiling water to brew. For the first five infusions, pour out the tea immediately without resting. From the sixth to the tenth infusion, allow the tea to steep for 5 to 20 seconds before pouring.  

Thermal Steeping 

Use a tea-to-water ratio of 1:200. Pour boiling water into a ceramic-lined insulated flask or teapot. Close the lid and let it steep for 1 to 2 hours before drinking. When about one-third of the tea remains, refill with boiling water to continue brewing and enjoying.
