This Gaiwan is a classic Ash Glaze 草木灰釉 Chinese tea set. Ash glaze is a traditional ceramic glaze primarily using plant ash as raw material. Due to the various minerals present in wood ash, the color and texture of the glaze after firing can vary. The production process of ash glaze does not involve chemical materials, making it environmentally friendly and healthy, aligning with modern green living principles.
