Sheqian – Liu Bao Tea
This 2025 spring Liubao tea comes from the high mountain tea gardens of Ludi in Liubao Town, Guangxi. It is made from original-seed old tea trees using early spring one bud and one leaf material harvested before the Chun She festival. This unoxidized Liubao tea is fresh, rich, smooth, and naturally sweet with low caffeine and high theanine. It is suitable for daily drinking, spring tea lovers, and tea drinkers who enjoy fresh, complex teas with long-lasting sweetness and traditional character.
The aroma is bright and layered with blueberry, floral, orchid, sweet bean, smoked plum, and light jujube notes. The tea liquor is thick, mellow, smooth, and soothing with rich sweetness and strong salivation. Early infusions are fresh and sweet with bean and floral notes, while later infusions become deeper, more rounded, and gently fruity with lingering orchid and jujube fragrance. The sweet aftertaste remains long after drinking.
This tea is handcrafted using traditional Liubao tea-making techniques, including spreading, kill-green, rolling, piling, re-rolling, and slow drying. Ancient processing methods are carefully refined to reduce bitterness while preserving the fresh and natural character of the raw material. The tea reflects traditional craftsmanship combined with years of tea-making experience and tasting research.
