Sourced from the “Royal Creek” Wild Mountain Tea Series, this premium Fu Brick Tea comes from a historic imperial tribute tea garden nestled deep within misty high-altitude forests. Crafted by Baishaxi, the tea trees grow naturally alongside native woodland vegetation, creating a distinctive flavor profile shaped by the untouched mountain ecosystem. Only one spring harvest is picked each year during the Grain Rain season, using carefully selected tender buds and young leaves from wild mountain tea gardens.

The tea leaves undergo multiple rounds of sorting and stem removal before being traditionally hand-pressed into bricks. The finished tea brick is beautifully textured with a balanced firmness and smooth edges. The dry leaves are dark and glossy, with fine tight strands and a subtle smoky date aroma. Inside the brick, visible golden spores known as “Golden Flowers” (Eurotium cristatum) naturally develop during fermentation — a prized hallmark of high-quality Fu Brick Tea.

Once brewed, the tea produces a rich amber-orange liquor with a smooth, thick mouthfeel. Notes of floral “golden flower” aroma and fruity sweetness blend beautifully with a deep wild mountain character. Traditionally enjoyed for aiding digestion and balancing rich foods, Fu Brick Tea is especially appreciated after heavy meals and for daily wellness tea sessions.

Steeping Guidelines

Easy Mug Brew

Use a tea-to-water ratio of 1:100. Put the leaves directly into a mug, add boiling water, and steep for 5 to 7 minutes. When about one-third of the tea remains, refill with boiling water to continue brewing.

Traditional Gongfu Style

Pre-warm the gaiwan or Yixing teapot. Use a tea-to-water ratio of 1:30. Brew with water at 100°C (212°F). For the first two infusions, steep for about 10 seconds each. Gradually increase the steeping time with each additional infusion. Pour the tea liquor completely out after each brew.

Thermal Steeping

Use a tea-to-water ratio of 1:200. Pour boiling water into a ceramic-lined insulated flask or teapot. Close the lid and let it steep for 1 to 2 hours before drinking. When about one-third of the tea remains, refill with boiling water to continue brewing and enjoying.
