Basic Information

Indulge in the captivating allure of Fenghuang Dancong 凤凰单丛, the esteemed oolong tea from the mist-shrouded Wu Dong Mountains of Guangdong. Revered as "Perfume in Tea," this exceptional brew is hand-plucked and lightly roasted to preserve its remarkable aromatic profile. The distinguished Ya Shi Xiang (鸭屎香 Duck Shit Aroma)variety unveils a unique floral fragrance, setting it apart as a truly extraordinary tea experience.

Phoenix Dancong transcends the ordinary with its unparalleled complexity, unfolding a delightful spectrum of flavors. From delicate floral notes to luscious fruity hints, and the comforting embrace of honeyed and roasted undertones, each infusion offers a nuanced and evolving taste journey. This versatility extends to its preparation, equally enchanting enjoyed hot or refreshingly chilled, making it a perfect companion for any occasion and palate.

Sourced from ancient tea trees and crafted with meticulous care, Ya Shi Xiang Phoenix Dancong is more than just a beverage; it's a testament to tradition and artistry. Elevate your tea ritual with this exceptional oolong, a favorite among connoisseurs for its layered flavors and distinctive character. Whether you seek a moment of profound flavor exploration or simply a delightful cup, let the captivating symphony of aromas and tastes transport you to the serene landscapes of Guangdong.

Duck Shit Aroma is a well-recognized fragrance within Guangdong Phoenix Dancong teas, boasts a captivatingly peculiar origin story. One account suggests its name arose from the unique yellowish loam soil, rich in minerals and resembling duck droppings, in which the original prized tea trees thrived, leading tea farmers to directly associate the exceptional tea with this "duck shit soil." Alternatively, a popular tale recounts early tea farmers deliberately bestowing this unappealing name upon the tea, whose distinct and alluring fragrance they wished to keep secret from potential pilferers seeking cuttings. Contrary to its name, the dry leaves exude a potent blend of honeysuckle and almond scents, which blossom into a fragrant orchid aroma upon infusion, highlighting the amusing disconnect between its moniker and its genuinely delightful characteristics, a contrast that has unexpectedly contributed to its popularity among tea enthusiasts.
