Zuiyin Tianlu – Anhua Dark Tea Handmade Fu Tea
Zuiyin Tianlu is a premium aged dark tea from Hunan, China. It is smooth, low in caffeine, and full of healthy "golden flowers." This sweet and deeply relaxing tea is perfect for tea lovers and collectors.
The dry leaves are grayish-green with tiny yellow spores. The tea pours a bright orange-red color. It smells like fresh herbs, warm sandalwood, sweet fungus, and plum. The first few cups are soft and leave a sweet taste in your mouth. Later cups become thick and smooth, tasting like honey and sweet fruit. Even after eight brews, it remains sweet with notes of rock sugar and dates. It has no bitterness at all. The tea gives you a calm, uplifting energy that refreshes your mind. You can brew it many times or boil it, and it only gets sweeter.
The name means "Intoxicated by Heavenly Dew." It represents the pure mountain mist and the feeling of being pleasantly tipsy from nature. This tea is made with a medium fermentation and a smokeless baking process to keep its natural flavor. Workers tightly press the whole leaves to keep the rich nutrients inside. It was made in 2012 and aged in a dry warehouse for over ten years. Anhua's unique climate helps the tea lose its initial bitterness and develop a rich, aged character.
