Gu Fa – 2012 Traditionally Crafted Liu Bao Tea
This aged 2012 Liubao tea is a traditional dark tea from Guangxi made from indigenous Yuanzhong tea trees and crafted by an officially recognized Liubao tea master. It is smooth, mellow, deeply aged, and highly durable for many infusions. The tea is low in caffeine and suitable for experienced tea drinkers, aged dark tea lovers, and anyone who enjoys complex, calming, and long-lasting tea sessions with authentic traditional character.
The aroma is rich, aged, and elegant, with notes of floral sweetness, honey, bamboo, jujube, and gentle herbal depth. The fragrance becomes warmer and sweeter with each infusion. The taste is smooth, mellow, clean, and full-bodied, with a soft texture and layered complexity. Sweet honey-like notes gradually emerge in the mouth, followed by a long-lasting sweet aftertaste and refreshing salivation. The tea remains stable and flavorful through more than fifteen infusions, offering a calm, comforting, and deeply satisfying drinking experience.
This tea is traditionally handcrafted using time-honored Liubao tea-making techniques passed down through generations. It was produced by Tan Aiyun, a representative inheritor of Guangxi Liubao tea intangible cultural heritage. After processing, the tea was naturally aged for more than ten years inside a mountain cave environment with unique humidity and temperature conditions. This slow natural aging softened the tea, deepened the aroma, and developed its mature, rich, and harmonious character while preserving clarity and vitality.
