Meijiawu West Lake Longjing is a premium Chinese green tea from Meijiawu Village in Hangzhou, one of the core production areas of authentic West Lake Longjing. Not all Longjing tea can be called West Lake Longjing — only tea produced within the protected West Lake production region qualifies for this name. Handcrafted from first spring harvest leaves, this tea is known for its fresh taste, elegant aroma, and smooth character, making it ideal for green tea lovers and daily gongfu tea sessions.
The tea offers classic roasted chestnut and fresh bean notes, layered with a delicate orchid fragrance unique to high-quality Longjing. The liquor is smooth, crisp, and refreshing, with a soft sweetness that lingers after each sip.
This tea is perfect for morning tea, quiet relaxation, tea gatherings, and mindful daily drinking. Its clean and calming character makes it especially enjoyable during peaceful moments.
Each batch is handmade by an experienced tea master using traditional pan-firing techniques. The tea also undergoes the traditional “Shouhui” resting process, which softens the roast and enhances flavor balance.
The tea is grown in an ecological tea garden in Meijiawu Village, West Lake District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. No chemical pesticides or fertilizers are used. The tea bushes are carefully maintained to produce tender spring leaves with rich flavor and aroma.
