Ya Shi Xiang – Old Bush Duck Shit Aroma Fenghuang Dancong Oolong Tea

Grown at elevations of 500–600 meters (1,640–1,970 ft) in the ecological tea gardens of Phoenix Mountain, this Old Bush Ya Shi Xiang is made from mature tea trees and crafted in the traditional Phoenix Dan Cong style. The tightly twisted, dark glossy leaves produce an elegant floral and fruity aroma, offering the depth, smoothness, and distinctive character of old-bush Phoenix Dan Cong.

The tea opens with rich notes of honey, orchid blossoms, and ripe fruit, followed by a bright golden-amber liquor with a smooth, full-bodied texture. Its vibrant flavor develops through each infusion, leaving a pleasant lingering sweetness and returning aftertaste. Rich in natural tea compounds, it maintains its aroma, sweetness, and depth through 8–12+ infusions, delivering a satisfying experience without becoming harsh or overly bitter.

Traditional Dan Cong processing brings out the tea’s distinctive floral character while preserving the natural qualities of the mature leaves. Having grown through decades of changing mountain seasons, the old tea trees develop deeper roots and accumulate the character of their mountain environment over time. This combination of traditional craftsmanship, mature tea-tree material, and natural aging of the trees gives the tea its layered aroma, refined texture, and distinctive old-bush character.
