Zongzi-shape Wild White Tea from the high mountains of Zhenghe, Fujian. Made from Zhenghe Da Bai cultivar and hand-tied into a traditional bamboo-wrapped shape. This tea is smooth, sweet, and easy to drink, with low bitterness and a clean, cooling finish. Suitable for Gongfu brewing, boiling, and long tea sessions. A good choice for people who enjoy aged white tea, wild mountain character, and soft floral sweetness.

The aroma is clear, floral, and long-lasting, with a gentle milky sweetness. The tea liquor is delicate, silky, mellow, and naturally sweet. It has a smooth mouthfeel with soft wild mountain notes, elegant freshness, and a lingering cooling sensation. The flavor stays stable through many infusions and becomes richer and fuller when boiled. Sweet aftertaste remains in the mouth for a long time.

The tea is traditionally processed with natural withering and careful handcrafting. Fresh leaves are steamed to soften them, then individually wrapped and tied by hand into a zongzi shape. The bamboo binding thread is safe for brewing together with the tea. This traditional shape improves storage, brewing convenience, and visual character. The tea is highly durable and can easily handle more than 20 infusions.

Steeping Guidelines

Easy Mug Brew

Use a tea-to-water ratio of 1:100. Put the leaves directly into a mug, add boiling water, and steep for 5 to 7 minutes. When about one-third of the tea remains, refill with boiling water to continue brewing.

Traditional Gongfu Style

Use one 7 g bundle (do not untie the bamboo binding). Water temperature is 100°C / 212°F. Any vessel is suitable as long as it can hold the entire bundle. Rinse once with a quick pour to awaken the aroma, then brew with boiling water for 20 seconds per infusion, increasing each subsequent infusion by 5–10 seconds. This tea does not become bitter or astringent, so longer infusions are acceptable.

Thermal Steeping

Use one bundle (do not untie the bamboo binding). Rinse once, then place it into a 1,000 ml ceramic-lined thermos. Fill with boiling water and steep for 2 hours.
