Tea Story
Tea Story
Nestled in the lush, tropical region of Xishuangbanna 西双版纳 in Yunnan Province, our organic tea garden is a sanctuary for ancient tea trees. The region's subtropical rainforest ecosystem provides ample rainfall, humidity, and a rich biodiversity, all of which contribute to the distinct characteristics of this Gu Shu Ripe Pu-erh tea. These trees, revered for their age and vitality, are cultivated without the use of synthetic pesticides or fertilizers, ensuring a truly organic and natural product. The deep roots of these ancient trees draw nutrients from the rich, untainted soil, imparting a depth and complexity to the tea that younger plants cannot match. The full-bodied flavor is a testament to the centuries-old trees from which it hails, offering a tea-drinking experience like no other. Our ripe tea undergoes a meticulous fermentation process, carefully monitored to develop its signature smooth, mellow flavor and dark, rich color. This traditional method not only enhances the tea’s taste but also unlocks a range of health benefits, including improved digestion, reduced cholesterol levels, and a calming effect on the mind and body. Each sip reveals layers of earthy, woody notes, with a hint of sweetness and a silky smooth finish.
