  • Description

Hepiao (合瓢)draws inspiration from the shape of the “Shipiao” teapot, crafted using the "Joined Happiness" molding technique. Adorned with exquisite and graceful bamboo leaf engravings, the teapot exudes an air of refined elegance, reminiscent of the spirit of literati.

  • Clay

The clay boasts a warm, inviting hue, and its exceptional oil retention properties enhance the teapot's patina with each infusion. Aged purple clay (老紫泥, Lao Zini) is a type of clay that has been naturally weathered and aged for decades or even centuries, resulting in a unique set of properties that make it ideal for brewing tea. Aged purple clay is a good insulator, which means that it can retain heat well. This helps to keep tea hot for longer periods of time. Aged purple clay teapots have a beautiful, natural appearance that is prized by collectors.
