Clay
This Yixing teapot is made from high-quality natural Tianqing Clay (天青泥), with an antique luster. The clay features speckles like stars, and the effect after seasoning is remarkable. It is a classic design with meticulous details, a full and tense body, and it feels comfortable in the hand for handling and playing. Tianqing Clay is relatively rare among Yixing clays, making teapots made from this material quite precious. Tianqing Clay has a grayish-blue color and is fine and uniform in texture. This clay has excellent breathability and heat retention properties, which helps to better release and preserve the aroma of tea.
